Run Coaching Frequently Asked Questions
We are here to help! If you have more questions, just ask.
What types of athletes do you work with?
I work with endurance athletes of all levels—whether you're training for your first 5K or chasing a Boston Qualifier. My coaching is tailored to your experience, lifestyle, and goals.
Do you offer custom training plans?
Yes, all training plans are personalized based on your current fitness, goals, availability, and preferences. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all.
Do you only coach runners?
While running is the core focus, I also support multisport athletes, especially those interested in integrating cycling or swimming as cross-training or triathlon prep.
How do you track progress?
I use heart rate, pace, perceived effort, and training load metrics to monitor your development. We’ll regularly review progress together and adjust your plan accordingly.
Do I need a GPS watch or heart rate monitor?
They’re not required, but recommended. These tools help personalize your training more accurately and track your progress objectively.
How does the coaching process work?
After an initial consultation, you'll receive a custom plan via TrainingPeaks, with ongoing adjustments based on your feedback and performance. Communication is continuous and collaborative.
How often will we communicate?
I offer weekly or monthly check-ins via messaging or email, plus monthly video calls for deeper strategy sessions. More frequent support is available depending on your plan.
What’s your coaching philosophy?
I'll create a program based on your needs, but, generally, I follow a polarized endurance model—prioritizing easy, consistent training while strategically integrating intensity. I value long-term development, injury prevention, and balancing training with life.
What are your coaching fees?
Coaching starts at $149/month depending on the level of support. Please reach out for full details or a discovery call.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
No long-term contracts. I recommend at least a 3-month commitment to see meaningful progress, but coaching is month-to-month.
What’s your refund or cancellation policy?
You can cancel anytime. Payments are month-to-month, and I ask for at least 7 days’ notice before your next billing cycle.
How do I get started?
Easy, just fill out the interest form or book a free consultation call. We’ll chat about your background, goals, and see if we’re a good fit.
Do you offer a trial or free intro?
Yes! New athletes can start with a free consultation and a sample week of training to see how the system works.
Frequently asked questions - Executive Coaching
We're here to help! Contact us if you have any questions that we haven't answered here.
What is executive and career coaching, exactly?
It’s a structured, personalized process designed to help you gain clarity, build confidence, and move intentionally toward your professional goals—whether that means leveling up in your current role, navigating a career transition, or finding more purpose in your work.
Who do you work with?
I work with high-performers, emerging leaders, and professionals at inflection points—whether you're shifting industries, scaling a business, or seeking more alignment between your career and life.
How does your background in endurance coaching influence your approach?
I approach professional growth like endurance training: sustainable, intentional, and habit-driven. We prioritize consistency, recovery, and long-term impact—not just short-term gains.
What kinds of topics can we cover?
Anything that matters to your growth, career strategy, leadership presence, time management, burnout recovery, values alignment, communication, imposter syndrome, and more.
What’s your coaching style?
It’s supportive but challenging. I combine reflective questioning with practical tools, and create space for you to think clearly and act with intention.
Can we blend career and endurance coaching in one plan?
Absolutely. Many clients find their best breakthroughs when we look at the whole person—your energy, routines, mindset, and ambitions across all areas of life.
What does a typical coaching engagement look like?
We usually meet biweekly or monthly, depending on your needs. Each session is 45–60 minutes, and you’ll have support between sessions via messaging or shared tools.
Do you offer one-off sessions or packages?
Yes—there are flexible options, from single strategy sessions to 3–6 month packages designed around a specific outcome or milestone.
Is this therapy?
No, coaching is forward-focused and goal-oriented. It’s about helping high-functioning individuals grow. If therapy would be more appropriate, I can help you find a trusted referral.
What outcomes can I expect?
While results vary, clients often report greater clarity, renewed motivation, stronger boundaries, career moves they're proud of, and more control over their time and energy.
How do I know if this is right for me?
If you’re feeling stuck, stretched, or ready for a change, and you’re open to doing the work, coaching can help. Book a free consult and we’ll explore it together.
